Throwback photo. Scanned from Star Studio Magazine July 2012 issue. Toni Gonzaga, for me, is one of the best, if not the best, female TV hosts in the country today. She's witty as well as funny. Her latest stint was being host of the first ever season of The Voice Philippines. I think she did an excellent job! Plus, I love watching her dress up during the show. 

Here Toni wears a red evening dress while accepting her award for Female Concert Performer of the year. 

I believe that Toni Gonzaga has an upcoming project with John Lloyd Cruz soon on TV. I can't wait to watch it! Looks like it's going to be a comedy series. ^_^

PBB Teen Edition 4 Big Night

The photos featured here are from the screenshots I made from the videos I found online. I'm afraid the videos don't qualify as HD so the pics are not the best either. Anyway, on my other blog, I posted that I'm quite happy with the result of this season's PBB Teens Big Night. That's 'coz my bet, Myrtle Sarrosa, won as the big placer. I don't usually watch reality TV shows until the contestants are down to around 5-6. I think that's when the show gets more interesting. LOL! But I do like watching the end.. in this case called the Big Night. That's 'coz the hosts as well as the contestants get to don on really lovely gowns. So here's a gallery of pics from last night's PBB Teens Big Night...

I wish there were nicer photos to post, but those will come later I guess. At least the screenshots would do for now. I love Myrtle's gown, made by Eric delos Santos. ^_^

Toni Gonzaga -- Movie Weddings

Now it's Toni Gonzaga's turn to be featured here with wedding gowns from some of her movies. There's "My Amnesia Girl" which paired her with John Lloyd Cruz. "Ang Tanging Pamilya" brought back the Toni Gonzaga-Sam Milby love team, that I also like. And then there's the "Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi" movie with comedienne Eugene Domingo where Toni was paired with Zanjoe Marudo.

I don't exactly fancy watching TV Reality Shows such as the Pinoy version of Big Brother. But I do know that Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzales are doing such great job as hosts of the show. Plus, I do know that both ladies usually wear lovely gowns during special nights like eviction nights and other specials. I do take a look at what Toni and Bianca wear as I usually love their looks on the show. Toni looks lovely in pink and I love that white gown on Bianca. 

Teleserye Posters 2

The star-studded sequel to the popular "Maging Sino Ka Man" telenovela that left some memorable lines from Sam Milby and Anne Curtis. Their romance also supposedly also started during the first series. But if there's one tandem I would want to watch on TV again, it would be Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz. 

"Tayong Dalawa" was another star-studded telenovela. Agot Isidro's performance was outstanding. The ending (with Rosanna Roces and Enchong Dee) was rather strange though. They probably thought of a sequel but never pushed through. And Coco Martin, from being second lead, has now become one of the most sought after leading men.

More pictures yet. Wow! Imagine Anne Curtis singing with the rest of the performers in the opening number! She received a platinum award for her music album and is slated to stage a concert at the Araneta Coliseum in January. Amazing indeed!^_^

I enjoyed the opening number. All the artists are truly great. It's no wonder that the annual Christmas special of ABS-CBN Kapamilya network is something to look forward to indeed. ^_^

Some pictures from the 25th PMPC Star Awards for TV. I truly love these events as I enjoy seeing Philippine celebrities wearing lovely gowns. Seen above: Best Musical Variety Show Host winner:Toni Gonzaga for ASAP Rocks (ABS-CBN). Toni also won Female Star of the Night. Female Face of the Night winner: KC Concepcion. I would love to see Kim Chiu receive more awards esp. for acting as she has turned into one fine actress since her PBB Teen days. Toni Gonzaga

Although she is not a Star Magic talent, it is good to see Toni Gonzaga graze the Star Magic Ball with director boyfriend Paul Soriano. Toni is the SM Cinema's Box-Office Queen for 2011 for her movie with John Lloyd Cruz entitled "My Amnesia Girl." She is currently one of the hosts of the daily noontime show "Happy Yipee Yehey" and joins "The Buzz" celebrity talk show on Sundays.
