Megan Young looks fantabulous wearing this beautiful gown. Aside from the Marimar remake, she also hosts StarStruck with Dingdong Dantes, Kris Bernal, and Rocco Nacino. I'm super happy that Megan is once again visible on local TV. Yey! BTW, if you're not watching Marimar daily, you're missing out a lot! It's turning out to be a really entertaining remake. >.<

And yes, I met Megan again for the second time during the Marimar promotion on Sunday Pinasaya. She's truly a gem! ^_^

Megan Young returns to prime time TV soon as the new Marimar... aw! >.< I love Megan Young. I've followed her since she was a kapamilya artist. I became a certified fan when she starred on TV5 Misibis Bay. From there I followed her journey from Miss World Philippines 2013 to Miss World 2013, where she was proclaimed winner. Yey! It was a momentous occasion bagging the first Miss World title for the Philippines. >.<

I met Megan Young in person early this year. I loved her even more. She's not only beautiful, she's also very nice in person. I love it that she appreciates her fans. >.< I'm excited that Megan will be back on prime time starting this Monday, August 24th as the new Marimar on GMA Kapuso network. I will surely be watching out for her! >.<

Legacy -- 2012 TV Series (GMA Network)

I've seen the trailer of Legacy as one of the telenovela offerings of GMA-7 Kapuso network for the first quarter of 2012. In fact, I believe it will commence this Monday. I found the trailer and the characters pretty interesting. Lovely actresses in gowns promoting the start of the series. I've also read it's pretty star-studded with lovely actresses.. Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Alessandra de Rossi, Sam Pinto, Solenn Heussaff, among others. I think it's worth checking out. ^_^

Solenn Heussaff

Solenn Heussaff is a French-Filipina VJ, actress, TV Host, model. Solenn is with GMA-7 Kapuso network as contract star. She starred in Philippine Reality Show "Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown", "Captain Barbell" and movies "My Valentine Girls" and "Temptation Island." Solenn also starred in the Nestle Philippines short film anthology "Sign Seeker" with John Lloyd Cruz. 

Carla Abellana

And I almost forgot Carla Abellana, another GMA-7 Kapuso network artist. Carla is the daughter of former actor Rey "PJ" Abellana. She was launched in the TV remake of "Rosalinda." She also co-starred with Lovi Poe in the movie "My Neighbor's Wife." Carla was previously awarded the Best New Female TV Personality by the 24th PMPC Star Awards for Television (2010) for her role in "Rosalinda."

Pauleen Luna

Pauleen Luna used to be an ABS-CBN Kapamilya star but has transferred to GMA-7 Kapuso network. She has been one of the regular hosts of the long-running Eat Bulaga!, a noontime variety show on local Philippine TV. To date, Pauleen is a familiar face on GMA network TV.

Kapuso stars in 'Profiles' catalogue

Profiles Magazine was launched at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel. Various GMA Artist Center contract artists were featured in the magazine. Seen on above photo are Rhian Ramos, Sarah Lahbati, Bela Padilla and Bianca King. Profiles magazine will feature GMA-7 network artists so Kapuso fans and showbiz aficionados will get to know more about their Kapuso favorites.

Michelle Madrigal and Ehra Madrigal

Another pair of showbiz siblings, Michelle Madrigal and Ehra Madrigal. Michelle was one of top ten finalists to the Star Circle Quest batch with Roxanne Guinoo and Melissa Ricks. She has since moved to GMA-7 Kapuso network where she has starred in a number of TV shows including "Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Lahat," "Captain Barbell Ang Pagbabalik," among others. I remember Ehra Madrigal in "Lupin." She has starred in a number of other TV shows as well like "Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin" and "Futbolilits."

Rhian Ramos

Another GMA-7 network Kapuso star is Rhian Ramos. I remember her as the leading lady of Captain Barbell and the Philippine remake of Zorro. Plus, she also starred in a number of movies such as "The Promise," "Ouija," and many more. Rhian was given an award in the 2010 Asian Model Award held in Korea.

Iza Calzado

Iza Calzado is one of the finest actresses in local Philippine showbiz. A Kapuso GMA-7 network artist, Iza is a familiar face on TV. I remember watching her on indie movie "Batanes" opposite Ken Zhu of the F4 craze group. She was also cast in The Echo, the English-language remake of Filipino director Yam Laranas’ horror film Sigaw . Iza has starred in a number of teleserye, "Impostora," "Joaquin Bordado," "All About Eve," just to name a few. She was also seen in "Milan," "One True Love," and "Moments of Love."

Kris Bernal

Kris Bernal is one of my Kapuso favorites.I simply find her cute and liked her tandem with Aljur Albrenica. However, I believe the two are already working on separate projects with other partners. Kris is on "Time of My Life," GMA Network's first danceserye, with Mark Herras and Rocco Nacino.

Marian Rivera

GMA Kapuso network has its own share of rising stars. Shown here is Marian Rivera who was catapulted to fame when she was cast as Marimar (the remake of the original Mexican telenovela by Thalia). Since Marimar, she has starred on various projects that included Darna and Dyesebel. She now stars on GMA TV as Amaya.
