28th Star Awards for Movies (2012)

This event happened a few months back, but I remembered posting these scanned photos of Anne Curtis and KC Concepcion because of the latest news that their movie together wouldn't push through anymore. Aww, I'm a bit disappointed 'coz I can't wait to watch KC's next movie. Nonetheless, I'm quite pleased that KC will be in a soap opera with Judy Ann Santos.

KC's gown is by Cebu-based designer Cary Santiago. Anne looks stunning whenever she dresses up in old Hollywood glamour. ^_^

PBB Teen Edition 4 Big Night

The photos featured here are from the screenshots I made from the videos I found online. I'm afraid the videos don't qualify as HD so the pics are not the best either. Anyway, on my other blog, I posted that I'm quite happy with the result of this season's PBB Teens Big Night. That's 'coz my bet, Myrtle Sarrosa, won as the big placer. I don't usually watch reality TV shows until the contestants are down to around 5-6. I think that's when the show gets more interesting. LOL! But I do like watching the end.. in this case called the Big Night. That's 'coz the hosts as well as the contestants get to don on really lovely gowns. So here's a gallery of pics from last night's PBB Teens Big Night...

Eugene Domingo -- Kimmy or Dora?

Eugene Domingo is one versatile actress I enjoy watching because for me, she's truly funny. It was three years ago when she starred in her first major film, "Kimmy Dora" where she played the role of twins with totally different personalities. I remember watching that movie and laughing so hard in some memorable scenes that I actually became a fan of Kimmy and Dora -- her characters. Well, the family decided to have a movie bonding this weekend and so I joined them to watch the sequel to "Kimmy Dora." I'd say the first movie was funnier, but I nonetheless felt entertained by "Kimmy Dora 2." My mom said she's disappointed though as she expected the sequel to be just as funny as the original. To each his own I suppose. I still recommend "Kimmy Dora 2" if you just want to be entertained and have a good laugh. I liked the "horror" scenes and the very nice shots of South Korea. And of course, Eugene Domingo is an awesome actress. ^_^

Angeline Quinto - Multi-Platinum Artist!

Wow! Angeline Quinto is indeed going places! I'm truly so happy for her since she was my bet for the Star Power contest. I'm just glad she won! Now the female pop superstar seems to be singing the theme song of almost every telenovela on tv. I remember tweeting her during her early days of winning and I loved it that she even took time to tweet me back! ^_^ Now, she's going to star in her own movie with Coco Martin, who seems to be the fave these days. My mom's excited to watch "Born To Love You" which will open in theaters on May 30th. Awesome! Coco Martin's one really good actor and is Angeline's crush. How nice indeed! I wish the movie will be a huge success!

Congrats to Angeline Quinto who was also given a multi-platinum award on ASAP 2012 today!
