Star Magic Ball 2013 : Kathryn Bernardo

I loved Kathryn Bernardo's gown during Star Magic Ball 2013, made by none other than the iconic Francis Libiran who also made Miss World 2013 Megan Young's coronation night gown. Kathryn stars in prime time TV show "Got to Believe" opposite Daniel Padilla. The two were awarded Couple of the Night during the ball. 

I'd say among the teens, these two are leading the pack so to speak. Their box office appeal will be tested once again as they have an upcoming horror movie "Pagpag" this coming Metro Manila Film Festival. I'd say this year's filmfest is one of the best with lots of movies that I would want to watch!!!

Star Magic Ball 2012 -- Kathryn Bernardo

Kathryn Bernardo wears Rhett Eala to the Star Magic Ball 2012. She looks very much the princess in this lovely gown. Kathryn was escorted by leading man Daniel Padilla. 

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are making waves as a loveteam. I believe the tandem is known as KathNiel. They do look good together. It does keep everyone wondering who the princess will end up with in "Princess and I." I just hope the people behind the show won't drag the show too much when they extend it. Otherwise, it gets quite boring. 

Anyway, it's great to see Kathryn enjoying the same fame and status as former "Mara Clara" co-star Julia Montes. The two are the most promising young leading ladies today.

PBB Teen Edition 4 Big Night

The photos featured here are from the screenshots I made from the videos I found online. I'm afraid the videos don't qualify as HD so the pics are not the best either. Anyway, on my other blog, I posted that I'm quite happy with the result of this season's PBB Teens Big Night. That's 'coz my bet, Myrtle Sarrosa, won as the big placer. I don't usually watch reality TV shows until the contestants are down to around 5-6. I think that's when the show gets more interesting. LOL! But I do like watching the end.. in this case called the Big Night. That's 'coz the hosts as well as the contestants get to don on really lovely gowns. Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes

The remake of "Mara Clara" somehow catapulted both Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes into stardom. I would say they're the latest Kapamilya teen princesses. Will they be the next Claudine Barretto - Judy Ann Santos? The two recently starred in a family drama "Way Back Home."

I found this picture from last year's ball featuring Kathryn Bernardo with her fellow teen stars, Miles Ocampo and John Manalo. Kathryn is most definitely a bigger star now that she played the role of Mara, formerly portrayed by young superstar Judy Ann Santos.
