Last Sunday I was able to watch on TV Erich's movie with Mario Maurer, Suddenly It's Magic. I just realized how good they looked together on screen. Aside from that, Erich is fresh from the "Juan Dela Cruz" TV series where she played Rosario, Coco Martin's leading lady and love interest. I was kinda glad that the two were paired as they also look good on screen. Now, I wonder what Erich's next project would be. I sure hope it's going to be another good one.

Star Magic Ball 2012 -- Erich Gonzales

Erich Gonzales wears Francis Libiran to the 2012 Star Magic Ball. Erich was the grand winner of the second Star Circle Quest. Even then, she had to wait a long while before she even got her own starring role in the TV remake of "Katorse."

After starring in horror flick "Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang" opposite Derek Ramsay, Erich stars in another movie due to be shown in theaters next week. This time around it's a romantic comedy -- ironic to be releasing such a film on Halloween! LOL ^_^ -- "Suddenly It's Magic" opposite Thailand star Mario Maurer. 

If you've seen the movie trailer, I'd say Erich and Mario look really good onscreen. I'm not surprised they were paired for this upcoming movie. Comedy films have been quite successful at the box-office so I hope that this film, being a romantic comedy, will do just as well. The movie trailer did receive quite a response from the audience when it was shown before a movie we've watched at the cinema last week. If you're looking for a date movie for Halloween, "Suddenly It's Magic" seems a good choice.

Erich Gonzales starred in horror flick Corazon, Ang Unang Aswang. Aside from that she's also starring in a movie with known Thai actor Mario Maurer. It seems that her love tandem with Enchong Dee is headed for splitsville as the latter is cast in an upcoming soap opera with Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador titled Ina, Kapatid, Anak.

Empress Schuck wears Edwin Tan

Empress was last seen in the afternoon drama Mundo Man ay Magunaw. She also starred in the horror flick Amorosa. Empress has also ventured into business and has recently launched the opening of the third branch of her salon business.

Shaina Magdayao wears Cherry Samuya Veric

Shaina Magdayao currently stars in the afternoon drama Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo. She has become controversial due to her break-up with well-known actor John Lloyd Cruz, who is now being linked to another actress, Angelica Panganiban.

Erich Gonzales -- The Local Maria Del Barrio

Erich Gonzales has been around local showbiz for some time now. I remember watching her in a number of support roles. She even played third wheel to the old tandem Kimerald. It wasn't until she was cast the lead role in "Katorse" that she was launched to stardom. Plus, the loveteam of Erich and Enchong Dee was also the by-product of "Katorse." A movie ("I Do") and two more soap operas, plus the recently concluded local remake of "Maria La Del Barrio" and the love team will be working on separate projects for a while. I think that's a welcome change. Erich stars in upcoming horror flick "Corazon : Ang Unang Aswang" with Derek Ramsay.

Teleserye Posters

Do you remember this telenovela that starred Bea Alonzo, Gretchen Barretto, Angel Aquino, and Erich Gonzales? I actually liked Angel Aquino's portrayal of Vera. But I believe it was Gretchen who bagged a best actress award for this teleserye.

Alas, Claudine Barretto's last telenovela for ABS-CBN Kapamilya network before making the move to GMA-7 Kapuso network. Memorable lines from both Catherine and Scarlet played by Claudine and Angelica Panganiban, respectively. I believe Angelica has successfully reinvented herself in this teleserye.

Erich Gonzales is the grand winner of the second batch of the Star Circle Quest back in 2005. This lass from Davao has indeed come a long way since she was also catapulted to stardom for her role in "Katorse" where she played a teenage mom. She has starred in a few other tv shows and currently portrays the lead role in "Maria del Barrio" -- a remake of the Mexican telenovela originally played by Thalia. Erich definitely looks stunning in her red gown.

Here is Erich in last year's ball. Her black gown looks simply stunning, but I think red looks better on her. Erich used to play second fiddle to Kim Chiu and other stars before finally making her way to stardom. By a stroke of luck, her tandem with leading man Enchong Dee really clicked; thus making both of them promising lead stars. They even starred in the movie "I Do."
