Star Magic Ball 2013 : Bea Alonzo

Va-va-voom voluptuous figure of Bea Alonzo in an Ezra Santos gown during the Star Magic Ball 2013. Don't you love that gown on her? I know I do. Well, Bea Alonzo is still one of the best dramatic actresses around. Fresh from her successful romantic comedy movie with DingDong Dantes, Enrique Gil, and Liza Soberano, I'm sure Bea is ready for her next project. But I wonder what it would be..... Her last teleserye (A Beautiful Affair) didn't last that long... and to think it was with John Lloyd Cruz! I wonder if Bea and real life beau Zanjoe Marudo would ever star together in a teleserye? They did come out in a short episode of 24/7 In Love (movie). I guess we'll need to wait for 2014 to find out what's next for Bea Alonzo!

Star Magic Ball 2012 - Bea Alonzo

Bea Alonzo wears Rajo Laurel to the Star Magic Ball 2012. It's quite a unique concept but no offense to Bea or to Rajo Laurel, I don't find the gown flattering. Bea Alonzo was rather stunning last year when she wore a gown that showed her cleavage. 

It's been some time since Bea Alonzo has been visible on primetime TV, but she did recently star in a movie with John Lloyd Cruz, "The Mistress." Bea has emerged to be one of the prettiest faces in local showbiz. Come Monday, 29th October, her newest soap opera show "A Beautiful Affair" will start airing. This is a reunion project with John Lloyd. I believe the tandem remains to be a crowd drawer despite the lack of romantic involvement between the two. 

I've seen the movie trailer of "24/7 in Love" and I'm quite curious about her tandem with real-life sweetheart Zanjoe Marudo. It seems like a comedy sequence with Zanjoe playing gay and having an accidental involvement with Bea -- not sure I got that right. LOL ^_^ Anyway, the movie will come out in November. KC Concepcion hosts X-Factor Philippines that is currently running on local TV. I think she's doing a great job. But then I would be biased 'coz KC is my favorite local female artist. I'm also currently working on a scrapbook about her.

Angelica Panganiban wears Jerome Salaya Ang

Angelica Panganiban was last seen on movie Every Breath You Take, opposite Piolo Pascual. She is currently working on a local soap opera with the same leading man titled Apoy sa Dagat.

Pokwang wears Bing Cristobal

Pokwang is one of local showbiz's funny comediennes. She's currently part of afternoon drama Aryana (another mermaid tale) and weekly sitcom TodaMax.

Teleserye Posters 2

The star-studded sequel to the popular "Maging Sino Ka Man" telenovela that left some memorable lines from Sam Milby and Anne Curtis. Their romance also supposedly also started during the first series. But if there's one tandem I would want to watch on TV again, it would be Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz. 

"Tayong Dalawa" was another star-studded telenovela. Agot Isidro's performance was outstanding. The ending (with Rosanna Roces and Enchong Dee) was rather strange though. They probably thought of a sequel but never pushed through. And Coco Martin, from being second lead, has now become one of the most sought after leading men. 

Teleserye Posters

Do you remember this telenovela that starred Bea Alonzo, Gretchen Barretto, Angel Aquino, and Erich Gonzales? I actually liked Angel Aquino's portrayal of Vera. But I believe it was Gretchen who bagged a best actress award for this teleserye.

Alas, Claudine Barretto's last telenovela for ABS-CBN Kapamilya network before making the move to GMA-7 Kapuso network. Memorable lines from both Catherine and Scarlet played by Claudine and Angelica Panganiban, respectively. I believe Angelica has successfully reinvented herself in this teleserye.

Truly BEA-utiful! I'm glad to see Bea Alonzo featured on late night news Bandila during Boy Abunda's segment. She has truly become more beautiful over the years. To date, I would consider Bea as one of the most beautiful faces in local showbiz. On top of that, she also has the acting prowess. Bea is currently happy in love with Zanjoe Marudo. I wonder what her next project would be after 'Guns and Roses.'

I do not consider myself a Bea Alonzo fan, at least not until I read her story featured on Star Studio magazine. I guess that kinda endeared her to me. Bea is one of the actresses whom I would say has matured rather beautifully. She somehow just seems more beautiful now compared to her teeny bopper days. Bea is shown above receiving some awards. Her latest photo from Guns n' Roses pictorial shows a more matured and definitely more beautiful Bea. She is one dramatic actress who cries so well and delivers lines so clearly -- a rare quality indeed. ^_^ I wonder what her next project would be now that Sam Milby won't be able to work on their movie team up.

It seems that there was some reversal of roles here. If Cristine's image went from sexy and daring to sweet, Bea Alonso is the opposite. I must say this look for this year's Star Magic Ball came as a surprise to me. Is it because she's now with rumored bf Zanjoe Marudo? 

I believe that Bea Alonso is one of the few actresses who looks better now that she has matured a bit. She's pretty, true, but now I think she looks more beautiful then ever.
